The website for Hire Society, www.hiresociety-weddingcars.co.uk, was upgraded in early February 2007. The main focus was to try and achieve high search engine rankings for the 'executive cars Rochdale' and 'executive car hire Rochdale' at key search engines such as Google.
In order to achieve this certain criteria had to be achieved. The success of this work can only be assessed over a period of time, limited success may be noticed after a few weeks. But the real success will only be realised from August 2007 onwards.
Interestingly, with key words 'Executive car hire Rochdale', the following search engine rankings were recorded at the end of February 2007: Google - 3rd, MSN - 3rd, AOL Search - 4th, Hotbot - 7th, Excite - 7th, Netscape - 4th, AltaVista - 2nd, Lycos - 7th, Ask - 5th, Dogpile - 2nd, Yahoo UK - 4th. Another upgrade to the site included a more professional / commercial appearance - in line with a more executive feel. This was achieved by making the website with active server pages (ASP).
